A beautiful monoprint block-printed entirely by hand by the artist on fine print-making paper made from Thai Kozo (mulberry). 'Winter Sea' is a small series of monoprints that the artist has not editioned as they are all uniquely different.
Over the many years of his career as an artist Jeremy Annear has always produced prints alongside his oil paintings however this recent beautiful print in which traces of the artist's modernist influences of Georges Braque and cubism appear, is the first he has created for some years.
Hand-made in his new studio in Cornwall, the forms and blue-green tones of 'Winter Sea (Turquoise Path)' are evocative of the wintery ethereal landscapes of the artist's home region, another important source of inspiration for his work. Signed by the artist, this unique mono-print is available for a limited time only on MIMA ARTZ.
